International Friendship Club

    The International Friendship Club (IFC) is a public youth organization uniting the students of all countries who studies in Gubkin University. In our Club students have a unique opportunity to learn about traditions, history and culture of the World’s nations, and where they may develop their intellectual abilities and to demonstrate their talents.

    At our university students from 50 countries of the world and practically from all subjects of the Russian Federation are studying. Additionally more than 850 foreign students are studying in Gubkin University. That’s why IFC plays an important role in internationalizing of the university activities.

    The superior body of Club is General meeting its members. The assembly gathers as required, but not less often than once in half a year. General meeting solves all the questions connected with activity of Club and presidential elections of IFC.

    Coordination Council and Council of Friendship operate within the limits of our Club. Coordination Council consists of following committees: The Cultural Committee, The Public Relations Committee, The Sport Committee, The Organizing Committee, which functions accord with Charter of IFC.

Committee – is the working body of Club which is carrying out the activity on one the basic directions of work of the Club.

• The Cultural Committee organizes Friendship Festival, Cultural days of different nations, Interesting excursions and round table discussions.
• The Public Relations Committee is responsible for maintaining contacts with the Moscow’s and foreign public organizations, maintaining contacts with the University’s public organizations and the departments.
• The Sport Committee organizes sport competitions Games of Friendship, Gubkin Olympic Games.
• The Organizing Committee provides Club’s activities with necessary resources.

    Council of Friendship includes Associations of students from the different countries of the world. There are associations of students from Arab countries, Bulgaria, China, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Latin America, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam and more.

    Each Association helps students from their country to adapt in Russia quickly, helps with study. Also Associations organize the national festivals and participate in festivals of our university.
